Terms of Service

1. General

1. These terms govern the use of Banana Smite – the League of Legends statistics website and the Banana Smite Discord bot (together: the “Service”). The Service is run by the creator of Banana Smite (“we”). Contact: through the Discord server where the Banana Smite bot runs.
2. By using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the Service.
3. The Service is free of charge and does not require creating an account.

2. Services

• Website: champion statistics (tier list, builds, runes, skill order, counters), item statistics, player profiles with match history, live game view, player search and favorites.
• Discord bot: commands with player and champion data, linking a Discord account to a League of Legends account, server leaderboard, ranked game notifications and language selection.

3. Technical requirements

• Website: an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and essential cookies enabled.
• Bot: a Discord account and a Discord server where the Banana Smite bot has been added.

4. Acceptable use

In particular, you may not:

1. automatically collect data from the website or the bot (scraping, your own bots) in a way that overloads the Service or bypasses its limits;
2. attempt to bypass security measures or request limits, or try to access the administration panel;
3. spam bot commands or otherwise abuse the Service in a way that makes it harder for others to use;
4. use /link to link someone else’s League of Legends account without the owner’s consent, or impersonate other players;
5. provide unlawful content.

When using the bot you must also follow the Discord Terms of Service, and when using game data – Riot Games policies.

5. Notifications on Discord servers

A Discord server administrator who enables notifications (/notifications) is responsible for informing server members that ranked game results of people with a linked account will be posted in the chosen channel. Anyone can stop being included at any time by unlinking their account with /unlink.

6. Game data and intellectual property

1. Game data comes from the Riot Games API. League of Legends, Riot Games and related names, artwork and marks are the property of Riot Games, Inc.
2. The code, site design, logo and the statistics compiled by Banana Smite belong to us. You may share links and screenshots for non-commercial purposes.

7. Data accuracy and availability

1. Statistics are calculated from a sample of matches and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate (e.g. LP per game, average rank, game rating). They are for information only.
2. The Service is provided “as is”. We may change it, suspend it temporarily (e.g. for maintenance or Riot Games API limitations) or discontinue it.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages resulting from interruptions of the Service, inaccurate data or decisions made based on it. This does not limit any consumer rights under mandatory law.

9. Breaches

If these terms are breached, we may restrict access to the Service, e.g. block a person or a server from using the bot.

10. Complaints

Send complaints and feedback about the Service: through the Discord server where the Banana Smite bot runs. Describe the problem and include details that help us find it (e.g. the page address or command). We will reply within 14 days.

11. Privacy

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes and final provisions

1. We may change these terms, e.g. when Service features or laws change. The new version applies from its publication on this page (with its update date); continuing to use the Service means you accept it.
2. These terms are governed by Polish law. Consumers keep the protection granted by the mandatory laws of their country of habitual residence.
